Garage Door Rollers are key to making your door operate smoothly. If one goes bad the whole door will make loud noises and be more difficult to open and close. Checking your rollers for wear and tear:

Disconnect your opener to make sure the door wont open while your fingers are close to the track.

Once the door is secured, use your index finger and your thumb to "wiggle" the head of the roller.

Most rollers have a little bit of "play" when they are brand new, however excessive "play" will be noticeable.

It is common for some rollers to wear out faster than others, generally once one roller goes bad the rest aren't far behind (there are always exceptions to the rule).
